With continued global supply chain issues and increasing demand for reliable distribution partners, investment in localised, Australian-made manufacturing programs is paying dividends for GRT enabling a ramp-up in production to meet the global demand. It has also seen the business scale rapidly and be recognised as a dust suppression industry leader within the Asian-Pacific region.
The latest addition to the Australian-made manufacturing program is the SMART dosing units for dust control products like GRT: Haul-Loc, GRT: Road Conditioner, and GRT: Activate. All GRT products and GRT dosing units are licensed and certified as Australian-made.
It is increasingly clear from our local partners and industry clients that the major challenge for mine managers is data visibility, especially around water usage. GRT have stepped up to this challenge with the fully automated dosing units for dust suppression.
Designed and assembled by in-house engineers, these Australian Made SMART dosing units provide meaningful data to empower strategic operational decisions.
With mining companies increasingly turning to autonomous haulage systems to improve efficiency and productivity, GRT’s approach is to continue investing in people, products and technology that drive automation and efficiency.
A recent addition to the GRT team is, Keith Nare, who has started as Senior Industrial Chemist. Keith is originally a product of Nelson Mandela University, with his completed Masters and current PhD, Keith is collaborating with the University of Nottingham, the Intituto Superior De Engenenharia De Lisboa (Portugal) with a focus on Polymer and Physical Chemistry. His role will be improving current formulations and expanding the range of solutions for the mining industry.
