Project Owner UGL ENGINEERING PTY LIMITED
Collinsville Solar PV Project
The Collinsville Solar PV Project is a 58 MWdc renewable project located 5kms west of Collinsville, adjacent to the existing Collinsville Power Station. The project consists of 3 adjacent areas on which PV panels will be mounted on fixed mounting structures anchored to driven piles. Due to existing ground contours, reasonable earthworks will be required to cut existing high areas and fill existing low lying areas with engineered fill. Prior to earth works the areas will need to be cleared of trees and small scrub, with all vegetation mulched and reused on site.
New access roads from the adjacent public road (I.e. Powerhouse Road) and internal access tracks will need be constructed as well as temporary laydown areas and site amenities area.
Ratch-Australia Collinsville Solar Pty Ltd has appointed UGL Limited as the projects Engineering, Procurement and Construction Manager (EPCM). All major agreements will be with UGL Limited directly.
DELIVERY SCHEDULE
The Collinsville Solar project is a 12-month project with site mobilisation at end of May 2017 and completion of construction end of February 2018 with commissioning completed May 2018.
