Austrian-focused mineral explorer Europa Metals Ltd. has commenced trading on the Australian Securities Exchange under the ticker EUZ after completing a successful AU$4 million IPO.
The company issued shares at 20 cents per share, funding Europa’s planned exploration across three key antimony and gold projects in Austria: Kreuzeck West, Kreuzeck East, and Goldeck-Siflitz. Together, the properties span a 40-kilometre mineralised corridor with extensive documented historic workings.
American Tungsten & Antimony Ltd. participated in the capital raise, taking an approximate 11 per cent stake in the company.
Europa’s initial exploration efforts will focus on Kreuzeck West, which covers 21.1 square kilometres and features a nine-kilometre prospective trend.
Historical records from the project’s Rabant area show stibnite grades reaching up to 17 per cent antimony and gold grades of up to 14.7 grams per tonne.
“Our ASX listing marks the point where we can move from assembling the Austrian portfolio to systematically testing it,” said Executive Chairman Myles Campion.
“We have three priority project areas, a substantial body of historical information and a clear sequence of fieldwork, geophysics and drilling.
“The funds raised will allow us to put that plan into action and report back as each stage is completed.”
CEO Torey Marshall noted that historic mining provides a valuable starting point, with modern exploration tools now being deployed to test prospective zones surrounding those old workings.
Work scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026 includes geophysical reprocessing, new geophysical surveys, and initial drilling at Kreuzeck West, subject to access, permits, and Alpine weather conditions.
Exploration will expand in 2027 to include further drilling and progressive assessments across Kreuzeck East, where historical workings typically show stibnite grades of around 9 to 11 per cent, and Goldeck-Siflitz.
Europa’s broader portfolio also features the Schellgaden project, a historically documented gold and scheelite tungsten district offering longer-term growth potential.
