Forrestania Resources Ltd. has signed a number of agreements supporting its processing hub strategy and planned restart activities.
The company has secured key operational and supply chain agreements across its Lake Johnston and recently acquired Edna May processing facilities, alongside a substantial third-party ore purchase agreement.
To support restart activities, Forrestania signed an ore purchase deal with First Au Ltd., establishing a framework to buy and process up to two million tonnes of third-party ore over 24 months.
Under the arrangement, campaign-based parcels ranging between 50,000 and 150,000 tonnes will be processed through either Lake Johnston or Edna May, maximising infrastructure utilisation.
The company has also locked in long-term supply chain and operational partnerships. It executed a five-year agreement with Orica Australia starting in 2027 to supply up to 1,000 tonnes per annum of sodium cyanide for Lake Johnston, alongside handling infrastructure and technical support.
Forrestania secured a haulage contract with Campbell Gold Haulage to transport ore to both hubs, and established a framework agreement with SGS Australia for commercial laboratory services.
The company also ordered replacement SAG and ball mill liners scheduled for delivery in November 2026 for Edna May, along with essential grinding media and activated carbon.
“We’re continuing to make significant strides following the acquisition of the Edna May Gold Mine,” said Executive Chairman David Geraghty.
“Across our business we are securing the critical ingredients required for successful operations, including ore supply opportunities, laboratory capability, haulage capacity, reagent supply arrangements, mill liners and processing consumables.
“With these foundations progressively being put in place, Forrestania is continuing to advance restart readiness activities while building the operational platform required to support long-term utilisation of the Lake Johnston and Edna May processing hubs.”
Forrestania has a substantial portfolio of gold assets across Western Australia’s premier mineral provinces, including the Southern Cross, Eastern Goldfields and Forrestania regions.
These assets provide the foundation for the company’s strategy to develop two complementary processing hubs at Edna May and Lake Johnston, creating a scalable platform for future production and regional consolidation.
