OD6 Metals Ltd. is commencing the application process for trading on the OTCQB Venture as it looks to broaden its North American investor base as it advances the high-grade Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada.
The proposed OTCQB cross-listing will complement OD6’s primary listing on the Australian Securities Exchange, providing North American investors with enhanced trading accessibility during US market hours.
To manage the application, certification, and ongoing compliance requirements, OD6 has appointed US-based capital markets advisory firm Viriathus Capital LLC as its financial advisor.
The push into US markets comes amid surging North American investor interest in domestic critical mineral supply chains.
The US currently has a 100 per cent net import reliance on fluorspar, a key raw material used to produce hydrofluoric acid for semiconductors, lithium-ion batteries, defence applications, and industrial manufacturing, having reported no significant domestic mine production since 1995.
OD6 Managing Director Brett Hazelden said the OTCQB quotation is a logical step as the company expands its footprint in the United States.
“We are seeing increasing interest from North American investors in both OD6 and the strategic importance of fluorspar,” Hazelden said.
“The exceptional grades demonstrated at Quinn, together with its location in Nevada and exposure to a critical mineral for which the United States remains 100 per cent net import reliant, provide a compelling foundation for increasing OD6’s visibility in U.S. capital markets.”
OTCQB provides qualifying international companies with access to U.S. investors while allowing those companies to maintain their primary listing on a recognised foreign exchange.
OD6 holds 100 per cent ownership of 226 mining claims covering roughly 1,890 hectares in Nevada, encompassing an eight-kilometre mineralised corridor with over 20 known fluorspar occurrences.
Recent metallurgical testing and mapping have confirmed potential for premium acid-grade fluorspar alongside potential gold upside.
Permitting programs, environmental baseline studies, and optical sorting metallurgical testwork are underway at the Quinn site to support upcoming drilling and bulk sampling approvals.
The company noted that the final OTCQB quotation remains subject to formal approval from OTC Markets Group.
