Omnia Metals Group has secured a major foothold in the US’ critical minerals industry with its acquisitions of two projects in Montana, US.
The company has entered into a binding agreement to acquire the Stibnite Ridge-Thompson Falls antimony and silver Project and has completed the direct staking of the Radix Sheep Creek REE and gallium Project, both located in Montana.
This expansion aligns with Omnia’s objective to participate in the rapidly tightening global supply chains for antimony and gallium, two materials currently designated as strategically urgent by the United States government under the Defence Production Act.
The Stibnite Ridge project is strategically positioned on the Stibnite Hill structural corridor, abutting operations held by US Antimony Corp.
This proximity is vital, as it places Omnia adjacent to the only Department of Defence-approved, fully integrated antimony producer in North America.
Simultaneously, the Radix project in Ravalli County secures a 3,024-acre land position on the same geological trend as the Sheep Creek carbonatite system, which is recognised as the highest-grade rare earth element (REE) and gallium deposit in the United States.
“These projects mark a transformational entry for Omnia Metals into the USA critical minerals sector and, one of the most compelling mineral exploration themes currently emerging in the global resource sector,” said Omnia Metals Executive Director, Patrick Glovac.
“We believe this portfolio provides Omnia with a powerful platform to pursue high-impact exploration and position the company as a participant in the rapidly emerging critical minerals supply chain.”
The acquisition and staking initiative are supported by a AU$1.5 million capital raise through the issue of 75,054,176 shares at 2 cents per share.
Omnia plans to move rapidly toward resource definition, with immediate work programmes including digital data compilation, systematic rock chip sampling, and the commencement of drill permitting processes.
“The board is of the view that these two projects, taken together, provide Omnia with a platform that is directly aligned with the most strategically urgent critical mineral priorities of the United States government and its allies,” Glovac said.
“We will move quickly to advance both assets whilst also continuing discussions to and a third advanced project to our USA critical minerals portfolio.”
