South Harz Potash Ltd. is planning to change its name to Turnstone Resources Ltd. to reflect its plans to transition into a European-focused critical minerals company.
The name change reflects the company’s substantial portfolio diversification, aligned with its European critical minerals growth strategy.
South Harz Potash Executive Chairman Len Jubber said: “We have, over the past nine months, through the addition of a copper-gold exploration footprint in Sweden, substantially diversified and strengthened our leverage to the demand for critical minerals in Europe.
“The proposed name change to Turnstone Resources reflects our transition into a multi-asset European critical minerals company.
“We are committed to systematically exploring the potential of our assets, both in Germany and in Sweden, while continuing to evaluate complementary opportunities to further strengthen our portfolio.”
The planned name change is subject to shareholder approval at its upcoming general meeting on March 16.
The company also provided updates on its portfolio of exploration licences in Sweden, having secured five copper-gold exploration licences in Sweden’s underexplored Värmland Province, with two more licence applications pending.
South Harz Potash was granted the Glava 300 exploration licence through its Scandinavian partner McKnight Resources, which covers 1,196 hectares and is the fourth licence granted to the company.
The licence is part of the Glava-Klinten project, located within the Proterozoic Grenville Orogenic Belt, an emerging copper-gold exploration district extending through Scandinavia, the U.K., Greenland and Newfoundland.
