BAI Communications has completed the full integration and rebrand of advanced communications engineering specialist Titan ICT.
The move follows BAI’s acquisition of Titan ICT in September 2025 and concludes a structured integration program that officially retired the Titan ICT brand on 1 May 2026.
The unified business now operates solely under the BAI Communications name, combining both companies’ expertise across engineering, systems integration, and large-scale network operations.
The integration positions BAI Communications as an end-to-end ICT provider across the full asset lifecycle, offering services ranging from strategic advisory and network design to systems integration, managed services, and “Networks as a Service” delivery models.
The expanded capability includes vendor-neutral consulting, high- and low-level engineering design, and 24/7 operational support through a dedicated Network Operations Centre.
A key outcome of the integration is the incorporation of Titan ICT’s established strengths in private LTE, microwave, IP, and radio networks, alongside its longstanding relationships with Tier 1 customers in the mining, resources, and energy sectors.
These capabilities are now supported by BAI’s ACMA-licensed spectrum holdings, financial resources, and national-scale operational experience.
Peter Lambourne, CEO, BAI Communications, said the integration represents a major milestone in the company’s growth strategy.
“Completing the integration of Titan ICT into BAI Communications represents a significant step forward in our growth strategy,” said Lambourne.
“We have brought together two highly complementary businesses to create a mission-critical communications partner with the engineering depth, national scale, and operational capability to serve Australia’s most demanding industries.
“The expertise and relationships that the Titan ICT team has built over more than two decades are now supported by BAI’s financial strength and proven managed services capability.
“We are well-positioned to meet the growing demand for private mobile networks and operational connectivity across mining, energy, transport, and government, and we are committed to delivering on that opportunity.”
The combined organisation now operates across five national offices, supported by purpose-built staging and configuration facilities in Queensland and Western Australia.
This infrastructure enables end-to-end delivery, from initial system design through to commissioning and ongoing operational support.
Chris Upstone, Director of Public and Private Networks at BAI Communications, emphasised continuity for existing customers while highlighting expanded service capabilities.
“Our customers can expect the same team, the same industry-leading expertise, and the same commitment to service they have always received from Titan ICT, now backed by the resources and national footprint of BAI Communications.
“This integration gives our engineering and delivery teams access to capabilities that were previously beyond our reach, including a 24/7 Network Operations Centre and a broader portfolio of managed services.
“It means we can offer our customers more complete solutions, from initial advisory and network design through to deployment, ongoing operational support and alternative asset ownership models to what we have been able to offer in the past.
“That is a genuinely exciting position for our people and our customers alike.”
The integrated business is now positioned to address rising demand for private mobile networks and operational connectivity across sectors, including mining, energy, transport, ports, utilities, rail, and government, as industries increasingly prioritise secure, high-performance communications infrastructure.
