The Perth Scorchers have announced the extension of their partnership with Komatsu, the global leader in mining and construction equipment, for a fifth consecutive year, carrying the collaboration into the 2025-26 season.
As part of the renewed agreement, Komatsu’s branding will continue to feature on the playing pants and training shorts of both the Scorchers’ men’s and women’s Big Bash League teams during the upcoming Weber WBBL|11 and KFC BBL|15 seasons.
This partnership not only highlights the alignment of both organisations’ core values—excellence, community engagement, and innovation — but also demonstrates their commitment to making a positive impact beyond the cricket field.
A memorable example of these values in action occurred during the BBL|14 season, when Komatsu and the Scorchers arranged for a mechanic apprentice to join the squad for a match-day warm-up and shadow the coaching staff.
The initiative provided the apprentice with invaluable insights into teamwork, project management, and skill building, underscoring the tangible benefits of the collaboration.
