Ballymore Resources Ltd. has reported further exceptional, high-grade assay results from drilling at its Torpy’s discovery within the Ruddygore project in North Queensland.
The latest results confirm shallow silver-lead-zinc-indium mineralisation, extending the target zone 40 metres up-dip from previous drill holes and reinforcing the company’s high-grade shoot geological model.
Standout intersections from the recent reverse circulation (RC) program include hole BTPRC013, which returned seven metres at 170 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 7.60 per cent lead, 3.27 per cent zinc, and 2.9 g/t indium from 44 metres.
This interval included a ultra-high-grade zone of two metres at 580.4 g/t silver, 25.88 per cent lead, 10.08 per cent zinc, and 8.7 g/t indium from 46 metres. Individual one-metre samples across the program yielded peak grades of up to 898.0 g/t silver, 39.59 per cent lead, and 10.3 per cent zinc.
Additionally, hole BTPRC012 returned 20 metres at 43 g/t silver and 1.80 per cent lead from 38 metres, including four metres at 130.9 g/t silver and 4.78 per cent lead from 54 metres.
Ballymore Managing Director David A-Izzeddin said the results mark a significant step forward in understanding and expanding the deposit.
“These latest results are another important step forward for Torpy’s, with BTPRC013 delivering an exceptionally high-grade intersection 40m up-dip of our previous drilling,” A-Izzeddin said.
“Importantly, the new results continue to support our geological model, which points to high-grade shoots developed along major fault structures. The combination of shallow mineralisation, strong grades and multiple additional targets gives us confidence that Torpy’s has considerable potential to grow.”
With remaining drill assays pending, Ballymore is preparing to launch a detailed drone magnetic survey across the district in September to help map extending fault structures and pinpoint additional drill targets.
