BOA Resources Ltd. has reported further strong assay copper results from its maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at the Ricci Lee prospect, part of the larger Neds Creek copper project in Western Australia.
High-grade copper intervals have now been returned from 28 of the 34 RC holes reported to date out of a 46-hole program, demonstrating strong continuity across the emerging mineralised system.
The latest batch of 11 RC holes returned eight significant copper intersections. Results have successfully expanded the Ricci Lee Main Lode to over 400 metres of strike length and from surface to a vertical depth exceeding 200 metres. Drilling has also defined a parallel Hanging-Wall Lode, which now extends over 160 metres of strike and remains open to the north.
Notable new drill intersections include 10 metres at 2.78 per cent copper from 208m, including 8 metres at 3.33 per cent copper from 209m and 11 metres at 2.04 per cent copper from 253m, including 9 metres at 2.44 per cent copper.
BOA Managing Director Graeme Purcell said: “These results are important because they continue to transform Ricci Lee from a series of historical intercepts into a coherent, high-grade copper system.
“High-grade copper has now been returned from 28 of the 34 holes reported, the Main Lode has been demonstrated over more than 400m of strike and beyond 200m vertical depth, and we are defining a parallel Hanging-Wall Lode that remains open to the north.”
Assays remain pending for the final 12 RC holes at Ricci Lee, alongside air core results from 92 holes across five additional Neds Creek prospects.
BOA currently holds a 49 per cent interest in Neds Creek and serves as operator, with a vote scheduled today to acquire the remaining 51 per cent along with full ownership of the nearby Thaduna and Green Dragon copper deposits.
