Golden Horse continues to report strong results from ongoing drilling at the Hopes Hill project, with recent reverse circulation (RC) assays confirming high-grade mineralisation at depth.
Latest results include 3m at 23.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 193m in hole GHHHRC0088 within a broader zone of 8m at 9.1 g/t from 193m. Other highlights were 7m at 3.1 g/t gold from 120m, within 34m at 1.4 g/t from 120m, and 6m at 5.3 g/t gold from 212m, within 13m at 2.7 g/t from 212m, both from hole GHHHRC0070.
Additional results returned 5m at 3.5 g/t gold from 265m within 15m at 1.5 g/t from 265m, in hole GHHHRC0102.
Diamond drill (DD) results are also starting to flow, with several holes awaiting cutting and laboratory assaying.
A second diamond rig is scheduled to arrive later this month, bringing the fleet to four on site.
The additional rig will accelerate the diamond tail drilling program and allow one RC rig to be redeployed towards testing regional targets.
Golden Horse recently completed a geophysical overview study with specialist group Newexco, covering more than 130km of the company’s tenure.
The study identified multiple targets, with Hopes Hill North, Aries and areas south of Hopes Hill recommended for immediate drill testing.
Golden Horse Managing Director, Nicholas Anderson, said drilling activity at Hopes Hill has entered a new phase of momentum and scale.
“Drilling at Hopes Hill has gained significant momentum, with a strong focus on preparing for deeper diamond holes with 26 RC pre-collars completed along the 1.3km strike.
“A second diamond rig is planned to be mobilised shortly, bringing the rig stable to four.
“The recent results, including more than one ounce mineralisation over 2m in hole GHHHRC0088 (approximately 160 vertical metres below the surface), highlight the high-grade nature and depth potential of the Hopes Hill mineralised system and provides clear targets for immediate follow-up.
“In addition, Golden Horse has been busy putting the right processes and systems in place to drive drilling success.
“A new core logging facility in Southern Cross will lift efficiency, with on-site core cutting to follow.
Anderson said the upgrades would improve efficiency by streamlining operations, reducing sample turnaround times and maintaining the steady flow of results, supporting disciplined execution of the drilling program.
He added that with two diamond rigs ramping up and assays confirming mineralisation across several zones, the company was well positioned to unlock the full potential of Hopes Hill while advancing its understanding of broader regional targets.
