Golden Mile Resources Ltd. has confirmed the growing scale of its Aurora gold prospect in Arizona, following a follow-up surface sampling campaign that expanded the target area to at least 450 metres in strike length and 280 metres in width.
The latest results build upon initial channel sampling completed across the prospect in April and May.
Standout results from the earlier lines returned broad mineralisation, including Line 1 averaging 2.38 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over a strike width of approximately 126 metres, and Line 2 averaging 2.56 g/t gold across 55 metres. Both sampling lines started and ended in anomalous gold.
“These additional results from Aurora continue to build our confidence that we have an exciting drill target that, with further exploration success, has the potential to grow into a significant gold discovery,” said Golden Mile Chairman Grant Button.
“We are still at a very preliminary stage of exploration at Aurora but with each sampling exercise not only confirming previous sampling results but also expanding the areal extent of the anomaly, we approach further work with great optimism.”
The Aurora prospect was discovered during initial field reconnaissance of the Pearl project in late 2024, and through 2025 two additional sampling programmes were undertaken. The Pearl copper project is located in the San Manuel mining district in Pinal County, Arizona.
Laboratory assays revealed that 55 per cent of the new channel samples returned values exceeding 0.1g/t gold, with 34 per cent topping a nominal cut-off of 0.25g/t gold.
While the sampling defined the western boundary of the Aurora zone with reasonable confidence, the southern boundary and parts of the eastern boundary remain open beneath the overlying Cloudburst Volcanics.
The company is progressing permitting approvals for an inaugural drilling campaign at Aurora.
Accounting for extended approval timelines and contractor availability, Golden Mile expects to commence drilling in the early first quarter of 2027.
