Power Minerals Ltd. has intersected exceptionally high-grade rare earth and gallium mineralisation in the very first drill hole of its maiden drilling program at the Morro do Ferro project in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
The standout hole, designated MFSR-051, delivered a remarkable intersection of 116 metres at 4.78 per cent Total Rare-Earth Oxides (TREO) from surface.
The intercept included a ultra-high-grade zone of 31 metres at 10.0 per cent TREO and 1.58 per cent (15,817 ppm) Magnet Rare Earth Oxides (MREO) from a depth of 14 metres.
Peak two-metre sample intervals within the hole returned grades of up to 18.12 per cent (181 kg/tonne) TREO and 3.66 per cent MREO.
Individual maximum magnet rare earth values reached 1 per cent praseodymium oxide, 2.55 per cent neodymium trioxide, 986 ppm dysprosium trioxide, and 196 ppm terbium oxide.
The drill hole extended known mineralisation at the project downhole from 71 metres to 116 metres, while also encountering high-grade gallium mineralisation through to the end of the hole.

The ongoing maiden campaign will comprise approximately 25 diamond drill holes covering 4,000 metres, alongside 800 metres of large-diameter PQ core drilling for metallurgical testing.
Power is currently drilling its fourth hole, with two drill rigs operating across double shifts and further assay results pending.
“These outstanding results reinforce our confidence in the Project as we continue drilling with two shifts currently in operation, and an additional rig set to commence,” Stephens said.
