WIN Metals Ltd. has agreed to acquire two value-accretive gold transactions that substantially increase the scale of its Radio gold project in Western Australia.
The company has entered into a tenement sale agreement to acquire the fully permitted Princess Royal gold mine and has secured an exclusive 12-month option to acquire the Stumpy Doodle gold mine.
Both assets are situated on granted mining leases, providing a streamlined pathway toward potential production.
WIN also sees both transactions as value accretive to its Radio gold project containing 345,000 tonnes at 3.7 grams per tonne of gold (g/t Au) for 41,000 ounces.
Located 80 kilometres south-west of the Radio gold mine and just five kilometres from the well-known Edna May operation, Princess Royal brings exceptional historical credentials to the WIN portfolio.
The company has defined an exploration target of 26,000 to 40,000 tonnes at 8.0 to 12.0 g/t Au, representing up to 15,000 ounces of gold.
Historical drilling at the site has yielded spectacular high-grade intercepts, including two metres at 31.47g/t Au and two metres at 30.47g/t Au.
WIN plans to commence a reverse circulation (RC) drilling program in the second quarter of 2026 to test extensions of this mineralisation, aiming to define a maiden JORC resource by the September quarter.
WIN will make a total cash payment of AU$500,000 to Jalmah Investments for Princess Royal and a royalty of AU$75 per ounce of gold from any ore extracted from the tenements.
The acquisition of the Stumpy Doodle option, located just 10 kilometres north of the Radio mine, further strengthens WIN’s regional hub and spoke strategy.
During the 12-month option period, the company will conduct at least A$50,000 worth of exploration to assess the satellite deposit’s potential to provide high-margin ore feed.
WIN CEO Steve Norregaard said the transactions are a pivotal step in the company’s growth.
“In line with our regional approach, these assets provide additional high-grade, stranded opportunities that materially increase the scale of the broader Radio project area,” he said.
“Together, these transactions increase our development optionality by introducing multiple potential high-margin sources of ore.”
WIN Metals is now progressing mine design and approval studies across the expanded area, integrating the new assets ahead of a future final investment decision.
