Molycop and Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) have embarked on a collaborative research project focused on advancing materials design and process simulations. This three-year partnership aims to enhance sustainable innovation in grinding products, leveraging the expertise of QMUL’s acclaimed metallurgists. The collaboration includes a PhD studentship funded by Molycop, which focuses on optimising the chemical composition and heat treatment of martensitic steels. This initiative is part of Molycop’s broader strategy to forge sustainable partnerships with research leaders to deliver innovative solutions for the mining industry.
