Tivan Ltd. has unveiled a major executive restructuring and a series of key leadership appointments as it prepares to transition into the execution phase for its projects.
The company has established a core executive team to enhance productivity and operational readiness, particularly for the Speewah fluorite project and the Molyhil tungsten project.
Under the new structure led by Executive Chairman Grant Wilson, senior executive Robert Gerrard has been appointed as CEO (Australia).
Gerrard, who joined Tivan in April following a senior role at engineering firm Kellogg Brown & Root, brings over 18 years of experience managing large-scale resource and energy projects across Australia.
In his new capacity, Gerrard will oversee commercial and operational workflows, procurement, and health and safety initiatives.
In a key governance change, Chief Development Officer Ellin Lede has joined the Tivan Board as Executive Director, marking the first update to the board since September 2023. Based in Darwin, Lede previously headed Fortescue Future Industries’ Office of Northern Australia and served as Policy Director to two Northern Territory Chief Ministers.
She will maintain her focus on government relations across Australia, Japan, and Timor-Leste, while taking on stakeholder and Traditional Owner engagement.
Rounding out the Executive Team, Brendon Nicol has been promoted to Chief Technical Officer, assuming oversight across all technical disciplines including metallurgy, engineering, mining, and geology.
Meanwhile, CFO Tammie Dixon has resigned after 18 months in the role, with Chief Commercial Officer Jason Giltay assuming acting CFO responsibilities until a permanent replacement is appointed
Wilson said the restructuring reflects the company’s growth as it advances its project delivery targets across Northern Australia.
“It is with much pride that we are taking the next step forward today, recognising profound achievement and evident merit, and laying the foundations for our next phase of corporate development,” Wilson said.
