Brightstar Resources Ltd. has appointed several experienced mining professionals to key roles to drive project development and mining operations.
Brightstar appointed John Croall as general manager for mining and will lead the company’s existing operations at the Fish and Second Fortune underground operations, driving the expansion of Brightstar’s operations.
Daniel Jolley was named as project director and will lead the execution of Brightstar’s Laverton process plant engineering and construction, which is targeted to commence in the first quarter of 2026.
Julie Budrey was appointed as group health and safety manager. She brings over 25 years of safety leadership in the mining industry with former executive roles at Emeco and Westgold Resources.

Brightstar and Aurumin Ltd. currently have six drilling rigs operating in Sandstone, targeting a material mineral resource estimate growth and infill drilling key deposits that would increase confidence classification.
The Sandstone feasibility study is advancing with GR Engineering Services engaged for processing infrastructure design and Independent Metallurgical Operations continuing metallurgical test work.
