Dyno Nobel secures contract extension with BHP Mitsubishi Alliance

Dyno Nobel has secured a five-year contract extension with BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) in central Queensland's Bowen Basin, effective from July. The agreement ensures Dyno Nobel will supply explosives products and services to BMA’s Goonyella, Saraji, Peak Downs, and Caval Ridge mines, and continue servicing the Daunia mine, recently divested to Whitehaven Coal. Ammonium nitrate and premium emulsion products for these operations will be manufactured at Dyno Nobel’s Moranbah plant. This facility's future is secured through a gas supply agreement with Queensland Pacific Metals (QPM) until 2033, with an option to extend to 2041. The achievement marks one million metres drilled autonomously, using a fleet of three Cat MD-series drills equipped with the Cat MineStar Command Autonomous Drill System (ADS).
