Cauldron Energy Ltd. has revised the exploration target for its Yanrey uranium project in Western Australia with the updated target demonstrating significant upside and scale potential of the project.
The newly revised exploration target ranges from an impressive 89.7 million pounds (Mlbs) to 269 Mlbs of equivalent uranium oxide.
This substantial figure covers 30 discrete prospective areas across the western portion of Cauldron’s tenement holding, extending from the North West Coastal Highway to the Ashburton River.
Importantly, this updated exploration scope is strictly in addition to the company’s existing mineral resource inventory of approximately 55 Mlbs of uranium oxide across three separate deposits, including Bennet Well, Manyingee South, and Manyingee North.
Once mineralisation is formally confirmed as a JORC resource, it is omitted from the Exploration Target calculation.
The upgrade integrates extensive data gathered from the company’s 2024 and 2025 drilling campaigns, alongside passive seismic surveys conducted up to 2026.
It also wraps in newly acquired tenements surrounding Paladin Energy’s nearby Manyingee Uranium Deposit.
Cauldron Energy CEO Jonathan Fisher said the revised target quantifies just how prolific the Yanrey region is for In-Situ Recovery (ISR) amenable uranium mineralisation.
“When considered alongside the existing JORC resource base at Yanrey, this suggests Yanrey has the potential to be amongst one of the largest uranium projects globally,” Fisher said.
“As the global nuclear energy industry continues to go from strength to strength, the shortage of available uranium in the market is projected to become acute.
“With continued bifurcation in the market and the increasing focus on energy security, uranium from Western Australia is of paramount interest to our closest strategic trading partners.”
Cauldron, which stands as Western Australia’s most active uranium explorer with three new discoveries over its last two drill programs, plans to immediately test several of these high-priority targets.
The company’s 2026 drilling program is scheduled to commence within the coming week, subject to local weather conditions.
