Forrestania Resources Ltd. has accelerated its operational timelines, positioning the Edna May processing facility in Western Australia to commence gold production by mid-December.
The company confirmed that first ore processing remains on track, subject to the timely receipt and installation of final equipment components. Key site milestones have already reduced execution risks, bringing the project closer to its near-term restart.
Mill liners are currently in transit and scheduled to arrive on site in the final week of November.
Meanwhile, the first cell of the tailings storage facility is progressing toward completion by late November, alongside final critical-path maintenance and refurbishment works across the facility.
Mining contractor equipment is also being mobilised to the Tycho and Johnson Range deposits to support incoming ore supply.
“Over recent weeks Forrestania has achieved several critical milestones that have significantly improved the outlook for a near-term restart of operations at Edna May,” said Executive Chairman David Geraghty.
“While Lake Johnston continues to make excellent progress, the opportunity to leverage existing infrastructure at Edna May and bring forward gold production has become increasingly compelling.
“Forrestania seeks to take advantage of Edna May’s ‘production ready’ status, and in parallel continue to progress Lake Johnston through commissioning and into production in early 2027.”
Hot commissioning of the gold elution circuit is already underway at Lake Johnston, which will serve as Forestair’s second strategic hub.
Forrestania is pursuing a hub-and-spoke growth plan, using multiple regional deposits within haulage distance of its two main processing hubs.
Supported by an experienced management team, the company aims to expand its resource inventory through disciplined exploration, targeted acquisitions, and regional consolidation to drive long-term shareholder value.
