Galileo Mining Ltd. has defined two extensive Platinum Group Metal (PGM) target zones at its Mission Sill prospect while uncovering a promising new gold anomaly at Callisto South within its Norseman project in Western Australia.
The drill results follow a 4,500-metre June aircore drilling campaign designed to test broad prospective trends across the region.
At Mission Sill, shallow aircore drilling returned anomalous PGM mineralisation across all seven completed drill lines. Results confirmed wide zones of 3E PGMs, such as palladium, platinum, and gold, , including 36 metres at 0.31 grams per tonne (g/t) PGM 3E from 4 metres, and 20 metres at 0.30 g/t PGM 3E from surface.
The drill data has allowed Galileo to refine its exploration focus into two distinct continuous trends: Zone A, spanning 1.4 kilometres, and Zone B, extending over two kilometres.
Deeper reverse circulation (RC) drilling in late 2025 previously intersected PGM-bearing sulphides beneath earlier anomalies in both target zones, laying the groundwork for systematic RC testing to determine the scale and grade of underlying sulphide lenses.
Reconnaissance drilling at the Callisto South prospect also delivered a breakthrough gold result, returning four metres at 1.2 g/t gold from surface along a mapped geological contact spanning over 1.5 kilometres.
Galileo Mining Managing Director Brad Underwood said: “Assays from our June aircore drill campaign at Norseman have returned significant PGM results on every line drilled at our Mission Sill prospect.
“These results strengthen the prospectivity of the target rock unit at the Mission Sill and allow us to focus on the most likely zones for the development of significant sulphide mineralisation.”
Galileo is now preparing for its next round of aircore drilling, scheduled to begin in September, which will follow up on separate anomalous PGM rock chips and test additional targets along strike from the 17.5-million-tonne Callisto resource.
“Our next drill campaign is scheduled to commence in September as we pursue an ambitious program to unlock the mineral potential in one of the most prospective regions of Western Australia,” Underwood said.
