Intra Energy Corporation Limited (IEC), an environmentally responsible mining and energy group, has announced compelling lithium, tantalum, niobium, caesium, and tin assays from rock chip sampling at the Maggie Hays Hill (MHH) project.
These results significantly enhance the project’s lithium prospectivity and validate IEC’s exploration strategy.
The latest round of sampling, conducted over the most prospective section of outcropping pegmatites, revealed averaged lithium assays of 503 ppm, indicating the presence of lithium-rich pegmatites.
Additionally, encouraging caesium and tantalum values, with average assays of 139 ppm and 107 ppm respectively, suggest the potential for multiple mineralisation targets.
These findings, along with strong correlations with spodumene mineralisation, reinforce the project’s attractiveness for lithium exploration.
Intra Energy Corporation Managing Director Benjamin Dunn, expressed satisfaction with the results, as he stated: “We are very pleased that these results have confirmed, not only compelling lithium targets, but also anomalous levels of the key pathfinder elements used to identify lithium targets. The caesium results are eye-opening and could be another opportunity for exploration success.
“We are looking forward to testing these targets as soon as possible, and believe they have every chance of delivering significant shareholder joy.”
The next phase of exploration at the MHH project will include a first-pass RC drilling program scheduled for the June quarter, subject to timely heritage and regulatory approvals.
This drilling campaign aims to validate and expand upon the highly prospective targets identified through rock chip sampling, focusing on delineating spodumene-rich zones and unlocking the project’s full value potential.
The adjacency of the MHH project to Mineral Resources Limited’s (MRL) recently acquired lithium processing hub presents a strategic advantage for IEC.
Leveraging this proximity, IEC aims to streamline project development and maximise shareholder returns by capitalising on the region’s burgeoning lithium processing infrastructure.
Intra Energy Corporation is committed to environmentally responsible mining and energy exploration, with a core focus on battery, base, and precious metals to support global decarbonisation and electrification for a clean energy future.
