
Litchfield Minerals Limited (ASX: LMS), a critical mineral explorer focused on base metals and uranium in the Northern Territory of Australia, has announced the receipt of two grants totalling $300,000 from the Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations program, an initiative of the Northern Territory Geological Survey.
This funding represents a significant endorsement of Litchfield’s innovative approaches to exploring underexplored areas in the region.
The grants were awarded as part of the Northern Territory government’s strategic effort to attract new exploration investments and accelerate resource discoveries across the territory.
Litchfield’s successful applications will support drilling activities at the Patmungala, Silver King, and Copper Flats targets within the Mount Doreen project area.
Matthew Pustahya, Managing Director of Litchfield Minerals, commented on the grant funding, expressing his gratitude and highlighting the significance of the Northern Territory government’s support.
“Litchfield Minerals has successfully secured co-funding for two grant applications focused on critical minerals exploration in both greenfield and brownfield drilling on the Mount Doreen tenement package,” Pustahya said.
“This funding comes from the Northern Territory government’s Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations (GDC) program.”
