Pantera Minerals Limited (ASX:PFE) has had three tenements granted at its Weelarrana project in the Collier Basin of Western Australia.
The three tenements cover a total of 357 square kilometres and consolidate Pantera’s position in the project area over prospective manganese host geology.
Geochemical soil and rock chip sampling and mapping is to commence immediately, and work programs will be aimed at developing manganese and gold-silver drill targets.
Multi-element soil sampling will also be undertaken over anomalous gold-silver rock chip results previously announced by Pantera.
Pantera Chief Executive Officer Matt Hansen said: “We are delighted to have had three tenements granted at Weelarrana, allowing us to commence further on-ground exploration immediately at our Weelarrana Manganese Project.
“We believe this Project area holds significant potential for the discovery of high grade manganese mineralisation, and this exploration program will allow us to fast-track the development of drill targets within the recently granted tenements in addition to our current drill targets on E 52/3878.”
