Native Mineral Resources Holdings Ltd. has completed another gold smelt at its Blackjack operations in Queensland, maintaining solid operational momentum into September.
The company said that its latest smelt on September 8 yielded two dore bars, BJM093 (Elution) and BJM094 (Gravity), with a combined weight of 340.9 ounces or 10.6 kilograms).
Official assay results for this pour are pending and will be integrated into the company’s full September production total.
The result follows official refinery confirmation for its September 1 smelt, which produced 191.99 ounces of gold and 168.05 ounces of silver from 400.9 ounces of received dore. That pour achieved a combined gold assay of 47.89 per cent, with gravity bar BJM092 returning an impressive gold grade of 62.44 per cent.
The consecutive pours build on a record August outturn for the company, which delivered 1,080.5 ounces of refined gold.
Native Mineral Resources CEO Blake Cannavo said: “The latest smelt continues the strong production momentum established at Blackjack following our record gold production result in August.
“Importantly, we continue to make good progress across our mining areas, with approximately 815,000 tonnes of material now moved from Mid Pit and Podosky since April and May.
“At the same time, drilling is continuing at North Pit and exploration activities are progressing across the Stockholm Tenements, as we continue building our pipeline of future ore sources around the Blackjack processing plant.”
Since launching operations earlier this year, mining activities have progressed rapidly. The Blackjack Mid Pit has seen 14 blasts completed and approximately 459,000 tonnes of material moved, while Podosky has completed 12 blasts moving 356,000 tonnes. A further 12 blasts remain scheduled across both pits as development continues.
In parallel with current mining operations, NMR continues to advance its pipeline of future mining and exploration opportunities across its Charters Towers operations.
The company is progressing exploration activities across the Stockholm Tenements following execution of the Stockholm Tenements joint venture agreement with Citigold Corporation.
