Native Mineral Resources Holdings Ltd. (NMR) has achieved a milestone at its Blackjack gold operations in Queensland, passing 6,000 ounces of total refined gold outturn since production began in July 2025.
Official Perth Mint refining results confirmed cumulative production has reached 6,048.3 ounces of refined gold and 6,973.8 ounces of refined silver. Over half of the total refined gold volume has been delivered since June, driven by a transition to regular weekly smelting cycles.
The operational update followed a strong weekly smelt on 13 October, which produced three doré bars with a combined gross weight of 527.6 ounces.
The pour represents NMR’s largest weekly smelt by gross doré weight since mid-August, marking a 78 per cent increase compared to the previous week’s 296.6-ounce pour.
The latest smelt included 365.4 ounces from the elution circuit and a 162.2-ounce bar from the gravity circuit, roughly three times the size of the prior week’s gravity bar. Final assay and refined metal outturn results from the Perth Mint for this pour are expected next week.
The 6 October smelt generated 155.7 ounces of refined gold and 88.2 ounces of refined silver, bringing gross October production to 824.2 ounces of gold doré across two smelts.
With two additional smelts scheduled before the end of the month, NMR is aiming to beat its monthly record of 1,080.5 ounces of refined gold set in August 2026.
“Passing 6,000 ounces of refined gold is a good marker of how far Blackjack has come since we poured our first bar in July last year,” said NMR CEO Blake Cannavo.
“More than half of that refined gold has been produced since the start of June 2026, and the operation is now running on a regular weekly smelt cycle.
“Our job now is to keep the plant fed consistently and turn that into steady gold output throughout the December quarter.”
