Manuka Resources Ltd. has received high-grade gold assay results from its initial reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Pipeline Ridge project, located in New South Wales’ Cobar Basin.
The completed 56-hole, 3,133-metre drilling campaign delivered multiple high-grade, shallow gold intersections. Outstanding results included 32 metres at 7.98 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 34 metres, and 8 metres at 12.96 g/t gold from 37 metres.
Pipeline Ridge is being evaluated as a potential satellite gold feed source for Manuka’s Wonawinta processing facility, situated 120 kilometres away.
Historical and current drilling indicates that mineralisation remains open in all directions, at depth, across section, and along strike to both the north and south. The strong results have prompted Manuka to begin work on a maiden mineral resource estimate for Pipeline Ridge, set for release later in 2026.
Manuka Executive Chairman Dennis Karp said the results validate the company’s regional exploration strategy alongside its current operational restart.
“These are exceptionally encouraging results from shallow RC drilling at our Pipeline Ridge project and confirm the potential to generate future gold resources for treatment either at Wonawinta or Mt Boppy,” Karp said.
“Importantly, this precious and base metal exploration is being undertaken alongside Manuka’s production restart, which will deliver first revenues from the processing of Mt Boppy gold bearing stockpiles this quarter.”
Manuka plans to launch a follow-up drilling campaign in October 2026 to test depth and strike extensions. The broader campaign aims to build a multi-source precious metals platform centred around the Wonawinta plant, creating a 10-year production plan across its Cobar Basin assets.
This approach is focused on increasing near-term gold feed into the plant and extending Wonawinta silver mine life beyond the current plan. Successful exploration could increase future operating flexibility.
