OD6 Metals Ltd. has reported exceptional high-grade fluorspar results from its maiden systematic exploration program at the Blue Bell prospect, located within the Quinn fluorspar project in Nevada, US.
The initial surface channel sampling at Blue Bell delivered broad, high-grade mineralised intercepts, including 24 metres at 51.1 per cent calcium fluoride with peak individual assays reaching 83.4 per cent calcium fluoride.
Additional channel results returned 28 metres at 29.2 per cent calcium fluoride and 12 metres at 39.7 per cent calcium fluoride.
High-grade rock chip sampling yielded values up to 98.4 per cent calcium fluoride, with multiple samples exceeding 90 per cent calcium fluoride.
The surface sampling confirmed multiple mineralised zones spanning a footprint of approximately 70 metres by 100 metres. The system features a high-grade main vein alongside broader footwall breccia and stockwork zones hosted in volcanics, with mineralisation remaining open in several directions.
Managing Director Brett Hazelden said the results validate the district-scale potential of the Quinn project following the expansion of the company’s mineral claims earlier this year.
“These are exceptional first-pass results from Blue Bell, particularly the broad zones of high-grade fluorspar mineralisation identified at surface, together with individual rock samples approaching 100 per cent calcium fluoride,” Hazelden said.
“We see the potential for Quinn to evolve into a hub-and-spoke operation, with multiple high-grade fluorspar deposits across the district potentially supporting a central processing facility.”
Blue Bell becomes OD6’s fourth high-priority exploration target alongside Horseshoe, Big Jim, and Mammoth.
With the US currently 100 per cent import-reliant for fluorspar, OD6’s 226 mining claims covering nearly 1,890 hectares position the company to tap into domestic supply chains.
OD6 is advancing metallurgical and optical ore-sorting testwork alongside environmental permitting to support a maiden drilling and bulk sampling program across its priority targets.
