Tivan Ltd. has reported broad, high-grade fluorite intersections from its Stage Two reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Sandover fluorite project in the Northern Territory.
The 58-hole, 5,884-metre program intersected fluorite mineralisation across all drilled holes.
Key results included a top intercept of 18 metres at 25.1 per cent calcium fluoride from 30 metres, including seven metres at 54.9 per cent calcium fluoride, alongside a peak high-grade interval of three metres at 74.3 per cent calcium fluoride from 28 metres.
Mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth across three priority vein systems, Reefs A, C, and E, covering roughly 2.25 kilometres of outcrop.
The drilling also identified fluorite stockwork mineralisation adjacent to the primary veins, pointing to a larger mineralised footprint.
The strong assays support potential production of acid-grade fluorspar, with content exceeding 97 per cent, a key feedstock for hydrofluoric acid used in semiconductor manufacturing and lithium-ion batteries.
Australia currently has no domestic fluorspar production, despite fluorine being added to the national Critical Minerals List in late 2023.

“Through diligent efforts over the past two years, and our strong relationships in Central Australia, we have today demonstrated its world-class potential.
“Open at strike and at depth, Sandover now represents long-term security of supply of high-grade fluorite for our trusted partners in Japan.”
Tivan acquired the project in late 2024 and previously signed a memorandum of understanding with Japanese trading house Sumitomo Corporation to explore commercial development and product distribution.
The company is now integrating the assay data to establish an exploration target ahead of a Stage Three drilling program, which will target the definition of a maiden mineral resource estimate.
