Antipa Minerals Ltd. has updated its mineral resource estimate (MRE) for its Minyari gold-copper-silver project in Western Australia.
The updated MRE sees the project’s total resource grow to a massive 3.6 million ounces of gold equivalent. This includes 2.9 million ounces of gold, 91,000 tonnes of copper, and 880,000 ounces of silver, solidifying the project’s status as a Tier-1 scale asset in the highly prospective Paterson Province.
Antipa revealed that 76 per cent of the gold is now classified in the ‘Indicated’ category, meaning there is enough geological certainty to underpin detailed mine planning and financial forecasting.
Within the Minyari Dome, the core area being evaluated for the company’s ongoing pre-feasibility study, that confidence is even higher, with 85 per cent of the 2.5-million-ounce gold resource now sitting in the Indicated bracket.
“This provides an even stronger foundation for mine planning, study work and ongoing technical workstreams as we advance the project towards a development decision,” said Antipa Managing Director Roger Mason.
“Minyari continues to strengthen as a large-scale standalone development opportunity in one of Australia’s most prospective mineral provinces.”
The upgrade also included a maiden resource for the RPS deposit, adding 230,000 ounces of gold to the total tally.
Despite the significant increase, the company believes the ceiling for the project is still much higher. Multiple deposits remain open at depth and along strike, with further drilling planned for the first half of 2026 to follow up on the emerging GEO-01 zone.
“Just as importantly, we see clear scope for further growth. Multiple deposit areas remain open, several emerging zones are shaping up for maiden resource potential, and the broader project area continues to generate highly encouraging new discovery opportunities,” Mason said.
Located in the same neighbourhood as Rio Tinto’s Winu and Newmont’s Telfer mine, the Minyari project is benefiting from its position in a world-class mineral belt.
