Forrestania Resources Ltd. has completed the acquisition of a suite of highly prospective gold tenements near Jaurdi Hills in Western Australia, marking a significant milestone in the company’s regional growth strategy.
The acquisition sees Forrestania take 100 per cent ownership of Australian Live-Stock Pty Ltd., Fenton and Martin Mining Developments Pty Ltd, and Diggers & Dealers Mining Pty Ltd.
The Jaurdi Hills project, which includes the Derry’s Own and Pride of Jaurdis deposits, is situated within the prolific Yilgarn Craton. These tenements sit in the Jaurdi Hills-Dunnsville greenstone belt, a region renowned for consistent gold mineralisation and structural widths that favour commercial development.
Forrestania’s Chairman, David Geraghty, noted that the deal is a vital component of the company’s plan to build a meaningful land position around its existing Bonnie Vale project.
“The transaction expands our footprint in a proven gold belt and adds a number of granted mining licences that strengthen our broader project pipeline,” Geraghty said.
“The deal was structured to be low-cost and performance-linked, which aligns the interest of all parties while allowing us to focus capital on advancing the asset.”
The company said one of the most compelling aspects of the acquisition is the proximity to existing toll treatment facilities. By utilising third-party processing infrastructure within an economic distance, Forrestania can potentially bypass the heavy capital expenditure usually required for new plant construction.
This aligns with the company’s broader operational shift following its acquisition of the Lake Johnston processing facility in late 2025.
Forrestania is expanding its footprint across the Southern Cross, Eastern Goldfields and Forrestania regions through disciplined exploration and selective acquisitions.
“Our focus now is to keep building out the resource base and move quickly toward production as we continue positioning Forrestania to become Western Australia’s next gold producer,” Geraghty said.
